Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain and fulfilment operations across India. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, customer service, and logistics partner management while ensuring high service levels, compliance, and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing supply chain operations in a regulated environment such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, or FMCG, along with proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Fulfilment Operations

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain and fulfilment activities, including replenishment, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, customer service, and reverse logistics.
  • Ensure timely product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels and service performance.
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the supply chain network.
  • Monitor and improve key supply chain performance metrics and service levels.

Planning & Inventory Management

  • Collaborate with planning teams to ensure effective demand and supply execution.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, stock availability, expiry management, and working capital performance.
  • Lead risk mitigation and contingency planning for supply disruptions and demand fluctuations.
  • Oversee cycle counts, stock reconciliations, inventory audits, and annual stock takes.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Manage warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations through 3PL and 4PL partners.
  • Ensure efficient order fulfilment and on-time delivery performance.
  • Oversee goods receipt, returns management, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Drive logistics partner performance through regular reviews and KPI management.

Import & Compliance Management

  • Coordinate import operations, customs clearance, freight movement, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable quality, regulatory, trade compliance, and corporate standards.
  • Partner closely with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams to support business objectives.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Manage supply chain budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for productivity improvements and sustainable cost savings.
  • Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement projects.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop supply chain team members.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, distributors, logistics providers, and external partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Regional Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 8–10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfilment, or distribution management.
  • Proven experience managing warehousing, transportation, inventory, and logistics operations.
  • Experience leading teams and managing external logistics partners.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
