Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Direct & Indirect Procurement strategies.
• Lead domestic and international supplier negotiations and achieve cost savings.
• Ensure timely conversion of PRs to POs and adherence to procurement lead times.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships and monitor Quality, Cost, Delivery & Compliance.
• Identify alternate suppliers and minimize supply-chain risks.
• Manage domestic/international logistics, imports, exports, freight forwarders and customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, DOA, contracts and ERP processes.
• Drive procurement cost optimization and process improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions.
• Lead, mentor and develop the SCM team, including work allocation and performance reviews.

Key Authorities:

• Approve PRs/POs within approved DOA.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Finalize approved suppliers and recommend new suppliers.
• Approve routine procurement and logistics activities within delegated limits.
• Recommend cost-saving and process-improvement initiatives.
• Escalate high-value purchases and policy deviations to the Plant GM/Head of Operations.
