Role Description

The Supply Chain Manager – Precision Manufacturing is a full-time, on-site role based in Peenya,Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, supplier coordination, and inventory control for CNC machining projects. Day-to-day activities include forecasting material requirements, evaluating and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials and components for production. The Supply Chain Manager collaborates closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to align supply plans with project timelines and technical specifications. The role also involves monitoring key supply chain metrics, optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and continuously improving processes to support high-precision manufacturing and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong demand planning and forecasting skills, with the ability to analyze production pipelines and customer orders.
  • Experience in supply management and procurement, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, including setting reorder points, managing safety stock, and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Experience in manufacturing or precision engineering environments; CNC machining or aerospace/healthcare/electronics exposure is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP or MRP systems and standard supply chain tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset, with knowledge of lean or similar practices preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
