Profile-Purchase & Logistics Executive
Experience: 13 years
Salary Range: 3 5 LPA ( Depends on interview )
Working Days- 6 days (9:30 am 6:30 pm)
Qualification: B.E in Electrical / Any Graduate with relevant experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Purchase electrical components, equipment, and materials for commercial SITC projects (Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning).
- Prepare, issue, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely approval and release.
- Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and ensure on-time availability of materials at project sites.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation for electrical equipment and materials.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with local electrical equipment suppliers and OEM vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract terms with vendors.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for items such as cables, switchgear, lighting fixtures, control panels, and other essential electrical components.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, vendor details, and delivery status.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Understanding of electrical materials, switchgear, cables, lighting, and control panels.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with project teams to forecast material requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/software tools (preferred).
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience in procurement and logistics for electrical or construction projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong relationship-building and vendor-handling skills.
