Basic Functions:
- Inventory Management by ensuring accuracy of Demand & Supply forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation.
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the Inventory Reporting.
- Create reports to give real-time visibility of Inventory in different locations and channels.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Provide input to the Supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Job Functions:
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to Inventory management.
- Gather, analyse and validate data.
- Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting and Supply & production planning.
- Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts.
- Provide input to volume planning (Latest Estimates / annual process)
- Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion.
- Review promotional plans with sales.
- Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing and Supply chain.

2 to 3 yrs
Education/Training:
Graduation / MBA (Preferred)
Specific Job-related Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Knowledge of SAP
- Microsoft Office
- SQL
- Power BI (good to have)
