Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Supply Chain professional to manage and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations at Burgrill. This role will be critical in ensuring seamless inventory planning at the warehouse level, efficient vendor coordination, and cost optimization while maintaining product quality and availability across all stores.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Planning & Control

- Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning across central warehouses and stores

- Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking

- Implement SKU-level planning based on consumption trends and store-wise demand

- Monitor inventory aging, wastage, and expiry—especially for perishable items

Warehouse Operations

- Oversee warehouse operations including inwarding, storage, dispatch, and stock audits

- Design and implement SOPs for efficient warehouse management

- Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and real-time inventory tracking

Vendor Management & Procurement

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

- Lead rate negotiations, contract finalization, and cost optimization initiatives

- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials with consistent quality standards

- Identify and onboard new vendors to de-risk supply chain dependencies

Supply Chain Coordination

- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, kitchen, finance) to align supply with demand

- Ensure timely dispatches to stores and minimize logistics inefficiencies

- Handle escalations related to supply disruptions or quality issues

Data Analysis & Reporting

- Build and maintain detailed MIS reports on inventory, procurement, and logistics

- Track key metrics: food cost %, wastage %, fill rate, vendor performance, and stock turnover

- Use data insights to improve forecasting accuracy and reduce costs

Process Improvement

- Continuously identify bottlenecks and implement scalable supply chain processes

- Drive automation and system improvements in inventory and procurement workflows

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in supply chain planning and inventory management

- Proven experience in warehouse-level inventory planning (critical requirement)

- Expertise in vendor management and commercial negotiations

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Dashboards, Data Analysis)

- Familiarity with supply chain software / ERP systems

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong problem-solving and execution capabilities in a fast-paced environment

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field

- Experience in QSR / Food Industry is highly preferred
