Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Mumbai. We are looking for someone who can:
- Plan production schedules based on demand projections, in close coordination with the production team
- Ensure sufficient finished goods stock at all times — working with the production team and co-packers to stay ahead of demand
- Plan and execute fulfillment for qcom, ecommerce platforms, ensuring dispatches are on time and appointments are met
- Work with the Key Account Manager to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment across all quick commerce warehouses
- Serve as the single point of contact for all co-packer relationships
- Coordinate with the procurement manager on raw materials and packaging materials — ensuring neither ever becomes a bottleneck to fulfillment
- Flag stock risks across raw materials and packaging early, before they affect operations
- Manage all Boombay warehouses — stock integrity, space utilisation, and process discipline
- Own stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records for finished goods and packaging materials
- Continuously optimise logistics costs and ensure they stay within targets
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams to manage RTOs, damages, wastage, and marketing outwards
What we're looking for
- 3–6 years of experience in supply chain or operations, with at least some time in an early-stage or high-growth D2C or FMCG business
- Has managed co-packers, third-party logistics, and multi-channel fulfillment simultaneously — and kept things from falling apart
- Comfortable working with incomplete data and building systems from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones
- Strong cross-functional communicator
- Detail-oriented on inventory and numbers, but commercially aware enough to understand the downstream impact of stock decisions
