Responsibilities:
- Source and procure Precision Machined Parts, Rubber Parts, Fasteners etc.
- Collaborate with production and sales teams to plan material requirements based on demand forecasts
- Track & monitor the progress and ensure the full kit is received from the suppliers in line with production plan.
- Ability to interpret Bill of Materials (BOM) and component specifications.
- Support developmental programs, NPI/NPD projects. Establish successful sourcing strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for management on supply chain bottlenecks.
- Add new suppliers to vendor base & asses existing supplier capabilities.
- Help in costing/estimation & order finalization of new parts/components.
Competencies Required:
- Engineering Drawing understanding
- Strong Knowledge of machining process, special process and fabrication.
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Good Negotiation skills
- Computer proficiency
- Expert communication skills
Qualification Required:
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/MBA
Experience Needed:
2+ Years of Experience in relevant field
