We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Executive to manage procurement, vendor coordination, logistics, and inventory operations for our growing R&D and manufacturing setup. This role is critical for supporting smooth production flow, timely material availability, and cost-efficient supply chain operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement for materials, components, and services required for electric motor manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors across mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical domains.
- Request quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and issue purchase orders.
- Track delivery timelines, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely material availability.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Quality teams to maintain smooth material flow.
- Support material planning based on production schedules and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Handle inbound and outbound logistics, courier coordination, and basic import/export follow-ups.
- Maintain well-organized documentation including POs, delivery notes, invoices, and inspection records.
- Assist Quality team with vendor communication in case of rejections or quality-related concerns.
- Prepare supply chain MIS reports such as procurement status, inventory updates, and cost summaries.
- Ensure ERP/Excel data accuracy and follow internal supply chain processes.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- Experience: 25 years in supply chain/procurement roles (experience in electric motors, automotive, or electromechanical manufacturing is an advantage).
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and industrial supply chains.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced manufacturing and R&D environment.
