Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

  • Strategy & Optimization: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency gains, and service level improvements. Lead initiatives for process optimization across demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. * Identify and implement best practices in supply chain management, leveraging industry trends and innovations.
  • Performance Management & Analytics: Define, track, and report on key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), forecast accuracy, inventory turns, logistics costs, and production efficiency. Utilize data analytics to identify root causes of inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into supply chain performance.
  • Continuous Improvement & Lean Methodologies: Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team and across cross-functional departments. Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen events, value stream mapping). Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization within the supply chain.
  • Technology & Systems: Evaluate, recommend, and implement supply chain technology solutions (e.g., ERP modules, WMS, TMS, demand forecasting software). Work closely with IT to ensure effective integration and utilization of supply chain systems. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within supply chain systems.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, production, finance, and procurement teams to ensure integrated and efficient operations. Manage relationships with external partners, including suppliers, logistics providers, and technology vendors, to drive performance and innovation.

Position Reports to: Vice President Supply Chain

Key Customers: Demand Planning, Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing,

Procurement, Quality, Finance &Digital teams.

Behavioral Competencies: Should have strong interpersonal skills, good analytical mind

set, logical thinking, good presentation skills, engagement, negotiation & influencing skills. Role requires high degree of networking and visibility across functions

Functional Competencies: Expert understanding of Supply Chain and Commercial functions. Ability to drive transformation with hands on usage of digital solutions. Ability to develop complex playbooks and review dashboards. Prior experience on detailed process mapping and optimization.

Digital Skills: IT Savvy. Should be computer literate, with advanced MS Excel

  • Power BI skills. Knowledge on SAP and prevailing digital solutions is desired.
