Hiring for a Supply Chain Coordinator, Logistic Support Executive for a US based Client. This is a WFH opportunity.
Role Description
Monitor driver progress and provide real-time route updates or rerouting as needed
· Communicate pickup and delivery windows to drivers and ensure on-time performance
· Manage and resolve delays, breakdowns, or missed appointments proactively
· Monitor driver HOS logs (ELD compliance) to prevent violations
· Ensure drivers stay within FMCSA regulations at all times
· Verify drivers have current medical cards, CDLs, and required endorsements
· Flag and document any CSA/safety violations for corrective action
Customer Communication
· Serve as the primary point of contact for freight coordinators
· Report exceptions (late arrivals, damages, refused loads) immediately and professionally
· Maintain required check-in cadences that large shippers like these often mandate
Driver Support
· Help drivers navigate facility-specific rules
· Assist with fuel routing, scales, and parking when needed
· Act as a liaison between drivers and maintenance for breakdown situations
Administrative & Reporting
· Maintain accurate load records in your TMS (Transportation Management System)
· Track on-time delivery (OTD) metrics, which Walmart and Amazon score carriers on
· Assist with invoicing by ensuring all supporting documents are captured
· Generate daily/weekly performance reports for management
Key Skills
· Experience with large retail shippers (Walmart and Amazon have zero-tolerance for late deliveries)
· Familiarity with ELD platforms (Samsara, KeepTruckin, etc.)
· Strong communication under pressure
· Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
· Proficiency in a TMS and Microsoft Office/Google Sheets
Minimum Experience of 1 year working as a Supply Chain Coordinator/Freight Broker serving US Industry.
