About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Supply Chain Associate Manager (Senior AVP) who will lead a team to perform sourcing and contract execution tasks within the strategic sourcing function.
In This Role, You Will
- Drive category management and strategic sourcing initiatives, including spend analysis, market assessment, supplier segmentation, and development of sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Identify sourcing, negotiation, and valuecreation opportunities, including drafting and customizing nonstandard contract terms and legal language to address supply chain and business needs in less complex categories
- Challenge existing practices by identifying inefficiencies and advancing datadriven improvements that enhance value, resilience, and effectiveness of supply chain operations
- Lead planning and implementation of purchasing programs, including ongoing measurement, monitoring, and reporting of supplier performance to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective sourcing, category, and supplier strategies
- Make daytoday supervisory and tactical decisions, resolving operational, risk, and resourcing issues related to work allocation and execution under the direction of Supply Chain leadership
- Interpret and apply policies, procedures, controls, and compliance requirements to ensure sound risk management and consistent operational outcomes
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources in alignment with business priorities, governance expectations, and performance objectives
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the team and extended supplier network
- Train, coach, and develop less experienced supply chain managers, strengthening capability, judgment, and execution discipline
- Lead selection, performance evaluation, and development of staff to build a diverse, highperforming, and wellgoverned supply chain organization
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Supply Chain experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- Any degree + Supply Chain Certification from ISM/CIPS/CPSM/other.
