Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Supply Chain Analyst with hands-on experience in a global supply chain environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in forecasting, planning, and inventory management, with a focus on improving key metrics like Inventory Turnover (ITO) and Material Availability (OTIF). This role requires a data-driven mindset, a structured approach to problem-solving, and strong collaboration skills to work with various global stakeholders. You will be instrumental in analyzing material consumption, mitigating risks, and driving lean initiatives to optimize our supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Planning: Improve Inventory Turnover (ITO) and Material Availability (OTIF) by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  • Risk Management: Track material consumption, replenishment lead times, and forecast fluctuations to mitigate risks from deviations.
  • Data Analysis: Spend your day evaluating safety stock, forecasts, and stock-out risks. Conduct Root Cause Analysis on on-time delivery misses and other supply chain issues.
  • Process Improvement: Drive lean initiatives and process improvements, and apply supply chain principles and methods, including reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with global stakeholders to address supply chain challenges and get things done.

Qualifications

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in any stream.
  • Proven experience in a global supply chain function, with a background in demand-supply planning, material planning, or a spare parts/service environment.
  • Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS-CPIM, CSCP) are highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of SAP (specifically MM and SD modules) and MS Excel. Working knowledge of SQL, R, or Python is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: A methodical approach to problem-solving (e.g., 8D, Fishbone analysis).
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to understand complex supply chain networks and handle data to extract business insights.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Work Ethic: A well-structured and committed working style with a willingness to go beyond the defined roles and responsibilities.
