Description
The Supply Chain Analyst uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. This role is responsible for analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing data-driven recommendations to improve overall supply chain effectiveness and efficiency. The position partners with cross-functional stakeholders to enable fact-based decision-making and continuous improvement across the end-to-end supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support to one or more functional supply chain areas including materials planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Use common processes, tools, and information systems to enable effective and repeatable supply chain analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and DAX to provide actionable insights and performance tracking.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all analytics, dashboards, and reports.
- Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in Six Sigma and supply chain improvement projects to drive operational excellence.
- Leverage existing business systems and materials planning systems as the primary tools for daily operations and decision-making.
- Apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) principles to support right part, right time, right quantity, and right place delivery.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, modeling, and troubleshooting to support value-creating decisions.
- Develop inventory optimization strategies aligned with organizational goals, considering constraints such as warehouse capacity and customer delivery expectations.
- Utilize advanced planning tools and BI dashboards to support decisions related to parts availability, inventory optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Assess and manage materials KPIs, balancing trade-offs to drive overall supply chain performance improvement.

Skills and Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Power BI dashboard development and DAX queries (mandatory).
- Knowledge of SQL (preferred).
- Exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate (good to have).
- Experience working with materials planning systems and business intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of inventory management, materials planning, and KPI analysis.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Access, TOAD, OMS, or other supply chain systems is advantageous.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree required (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field preferred).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing dashboards using Power BI and DAX queries.
- Minimal to intermediate level of overall supply chain or analytics experience required.
