Supplier Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Supplier Quality Engineer II to play a key role in ensuring the excellence of our components, materials, and special process suppliers. In this role, you will develop and maintain robust quality methodologies and procedures, driving supplier performance in a fast-paced new product development and production environment. Your expertise will help strengthen our supply chain and support the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilitie

• sLead initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance across the Ichor Supply Chain
• .Investigate, resolve, and prevent supplier product and process nonconformances
• .Develop and implement effective supplier process control systems to ensure products meet all specifications
• .Support the deployment of process controls and CAPA systems that exceed internal and external requirements
• .Communicate quality issues and performance metrics clearly with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• .Conduct and maintain supplier risk analyses to mitigate potential issues
• .Collaborate with design engineering teams on product verification and validation activities
• .Own and report supplier quality metrics, ensuring visibility of performance across the organization
• .Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain as directed by management

Qualificatio

• nsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical field, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturin
• g.Hands-on experience in hard goods manufacturing, with emphasis on electro-mechanical assembly and machining/metal fabricatio
• n.Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis
