Job Description
- Experience in Powertrain , Chassis commodity
- Should be knowledgeable in GD&T
- Expertise in Castings / Forging, Machining process
- Working experience in Heat Treatments will be an added advantage.
- The role requires 60% of travel to supplier sites
Responsibilities
- Drive new supplier site evaluations and Supplier Risk Assessment on new sourcing, identifying Risk Mitigation
- Drive Manufacturing feasibility Reviews with suppliers before kicking off APQP and implement relevant actions to ensure a robust process & product quality
- Review Supplier's Manufacturing Plan and Analyze Capacity Analysis Reports
- Drive a robust Industrialization Plan for New Model Programs.
- Drive PPAP requisites to match New Model Program time plan.
- Supplier Failure Mode Avoidance through reviews of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, CQI Special Process Analysis.
- Drive Best in class manufacturing practices at supplier's manufacturing location.
- Drive Quality Performance Improvements Defects Reduction actions, Warranty Performance Improvement
- Drive closure of supplier process Quality issues related to Field issues & Prevent Action
- Running Models Quality Verification through Statistical Process Control, Measurement System Analysis.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring Through Regular Quality Operating Systems Analysis.
