This Position reports to:

Supplier Quality & Development Manager


Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The work model for the role is: LI #Hybrid

This role is contributing to Process Automation Business in Bangalore Location.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • The candidate will functionally report to Supplier Quality and Development EngineerTeam Lead.

  • Utilize SAP Ariba Supplier Management module for supplier registration, onboarding, and qualification.

  • Active collaboration with Category Manager (s) and/or buyer (s) and process suppler onboarding request.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements during supplier onboarding..

  • Perform supplier risk assessments and manage mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier-related issues.

  • Address potential delays and escalate issues when necessary to minimize disruptions.

  • Assist in troubleshooting supplier onboarding issues and provide user support for SAP Ariba supplier management functionalities


Qualifications for the role :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • 4-7 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain operations.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Management is a must

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in tools like SAP Ariba, Abode e-sign, Service Now, PBI and MS Office

  • Experienced, motivated, and confident in understanding and working broadly in a complex organization to create needed alignment and harness wider relationships and influences

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global environment

  • Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders and business leaders to understand requirements, expectations, and value measures.

  • Strong knowledge of supplier governance and risk management processes.

  • Ability to analyze supplier data and generate reports

  • SAP Ariba certification is a plus .
