Supplier Development Engineer - OPCOS Support - Shall be responsible for development of parts and their costing as per the inquiries of the OPCOS.
Work You ll Do:
- Receive Inquiries for the parts of Development for the OPCOS.
- Study the drawings from RM, Processes involved, CTQ, Process time, Machines involved.
- Explore Suppliers who are able to do such parts and have capacity and capability to ensure quality parts.
- Do the actual should cost of the parts.
- Shortlist Suppliers and Evaluate suppliers on the basis of profile and their evaluation after visit.
- Get the quote from the supplier and finalize with one supplier.
- Supplier process discussion and Control plan finalizations
- Resolving supplier-related issues like Drawing/Specification Clarification, Delivery, Invoice queries etc.
- Adequate negotiation skills.
- First part inspection and corrective actions based on these observations.
- Productionization from the sample parts.
- Shipping of parts and their documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
BE/ BTech - Mechanical / CAM/ Machining knowledge Experience minimum 8 years or above.
