Key Responsibilities

  • Implements commodity strategies.
  • Support the maintenance of agreements with suppliers that provide the structure for all business relationships between Applied Materials and the supply base.
  • Support with the PLC process to ensure alignment with the commodity strategies.
  • Engages new supplier introduction and/or disengagement requirements to/from the Applied Materials supply base.

Supplier Quotation & Negotiation

  • Lead complex commercial negotiations covering pricing, lead times, capacity commitments, tooling, payment terms, and long‑term agreements.
  • Achieve year‑over‑year cost savings, value engineering, and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements.
  • Drive end‑to‑end RFQ/RFP processes.

SAPDriven Procurement & Data Management

  • Utilize SAP to manage sourcing activities, purchase info records, contracts, and pricing updates.
  • Leverage SAP reporting and analytics to track savings, spend, supplier performance, and forecasting.
  • Advanced SAP proficiency required, including hands‑on experience with sourcing, pricing conditions, contracts, and reporting in SAP.
Job Timing - 9 AM-5 PM CDT corresponds to 7:30 PM-3:30 AM IST
