Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
• Manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set by Company
• Plan and deliver schedules for more specific needs such as periodic timetable, utilising available manpower and equipments
• Liaise with customers via e-mail & telephone for all documentation and administration matters
• Oversee all aspects of inventory control efforts and inventory personnel for the warehouse including daily cycle count and housekeeping of inventory
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
• Responsible for the inspection and routine maintenance of associated machines and hardware equipments.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures complying with legal regulations
• Carry out other duties in accordance with company's management policy procedures and work instructions

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably with 4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Preferably with experience in retail sale of hardware such as chains, changkols, axes
• Preferably with experience in wholesale packaging and good knowledge in hardware products / materials distributions through various channels
• Must have knowledge in hardware materials such as chains, changkols, axes etc
• Preferably with Class 3 / Class 4 Driving Licence
• Physically fit - the role requires walking, lifting, bending and other physical abilities
• Able to lift and carry heavy loads and able to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Must be able to work longer hours, weekends and public holiday when necessary
• Strong sense of responsibility, focus on customer satisfaction and be a team player
• Good trouble shooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects within the scope of work and stay on task
• Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Coordinate with other team members to optimize teamwork.
