Position reporting into this role: All shop floor employee i.e. fitters, welders, helpers & finishers.
Job Description
- Expertise in handling projects independently from the stage of layout, drawings to the execution of the same.
- Implementation of learn manufacturing processes. Resulted to reduce manpower 25 - 30%
- Change in layout, reduction in wip and increase in comfort level of workmen.
- Performed the major role in planning activities (material as well as manpower) for shift.
- Interested in solving problems during production. Identification of skills & utilization at right place.
- Working in ERP system & expertise in production activities.
- To negotiate suppliers & co-ordination for delivery. Inspection of material / equipment's at supplier end.
- Assembly & testing of the set-up in factory.
- Co-ordination with third party inspection & preparation for documents as well as preparation of packing list for exports.
- Not a single issue with workmen in carrier.
- Handled the situation like go slow / tool down.
- Achieved production target & priorities as & when required.
- Meeting daily set and agreed output from all fitters, helpers & welders.
- To follow standard fitting, helpers & welding procedures & techniques, and have plant specific process knowledge.
- Communication for shortages stock outs.
- Part pick from the locations (store)
- Communication for daily output and pending jobs.
- Up keeping workstation, tools & equipment's.
- To know safety requirement while working, can able to fitters, helpers & welders. new technicians
- Information about damaged components tools. Have full knowledge about product Drawing, standards and specifications.
- To transfer knowledge or skills to new fitters, helpers & welders.
- To gain knowledge about all production activities (own production skill level min 65%)
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
- Responsible for light/fan/equipment's on/off regularly.
- Can able to do some extra work like welding, fitting according to drawing.
- Can able to repairing components like grinder, drill machine, bare wire etc
- Responsible for keeping all documentation of GMS.
Required Skills
- Thorough knowledge about all production activities (own production skill level min 65%).
- Information about damaged components tools.
- Have full knowledge about product drawing, standards and specifications.
- Can able to do some extra work like welding, fitting according to drawing.
- Can able to repairing components like grander, drill machine, bare wire etc.
- Can able to teach new fitters, helpers & welders.
Educational Qualification
Complete DME or BA/BCOM/BSC experience and knowledge of Fabrication industries experience.
Work Experience
around 3 to 5 years in fabrication industry. around 3 to 5 years in fabrication industry.
