Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Supervisor Melting. The Supervisor will oversee and manage the operations of the melting department, ensuring the adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include supervising the melting process, handling raw material preparation, monitoring furnace operations, and ensuring proper maintenance of equipment. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to streamline production and resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of melting processes, furnace operations, and raw material handling
- Experience in production supervision and process optimization
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality assurance standards in manufacturing
- Technical expertise in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
- Problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
- Diploma or degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering,Bsc chem or related field
- Proven experience in the foundry or manufacturing industry is an advantage
