Position Responsibilities
- Manage multiple teams across operations
- Own delivery for AML/KYC/EDD projects
- Oversee hiring, training, and performance management
- Support client engagement and governance reporting
- Supervise daily activities of analysts and investigators.
- Ensure SLA and KPI adherence across team output.
- Coach and develop junior staff.
- Act as escalation point for complex cases.
- Demonstrates the ability to complete Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Fraud alert reviews and/or EDD case investigations as needed.
- Monitor and stay current with BSA/AML and OFAC regulatory, industry developments, and best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in AML, KYC or EDD with a financial institution, payment-focused company or equivalent and management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, or equivalent work experience.
Technical Knowledge And Skills
- Experience performing blockchain analysis using blockchain tracing technologies such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM Labs, etc.
- Strong leadership and organizational management
- Experience running large operational teams
- Ability to interact with senior stakeholders
- People management and mentoring.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload distribution.
- Knowledge of AML regulations (BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, etc.)
- Experience conducting KYC/CDD/EDD reviews or transaction monitoring alert/investigation reviews.
- Strong understanding of SAR/EDD/QA requirements.
- Leadership in case review and escalation.
- Ability to enforce quality metrics across teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, and Teams to execute daily work.
