Job Title: Supervisor / Junior Engineer - Melting (2 Positions)

Experience: 3 to 5 years
Melting Supervisor
- Minimum 2 to 5 years experience with Iron Casting Foundry Background (Green Sand Mould).
- Qualification: D.M.E & B.E (Mech).
- To plan and do lining of the induction melting furnace at regular intervals.
- To organize to do lining of the ladles as required.
- To organize to do lining of the Hand Sangs as required.
- To ensure the chemical composition as per company standards.
- To coordinate with molding department and provide molten metal of required quality and quantity at the right time.
- To ensure first box and last box traceability.
- To complete the SG Iron pouring time within 8 Minutes
- To co ordinate with moulding department and check the knockout time
- To ensure availability of raw materials required by coordinating with stores.
- To optimize energy consumption for melting in induction furnace.
- Attend weekly production meeting and present records and statistics related to molten metal produced, energy consumption for melting and life of furnace lining.
- Maintain and ensure for Shop Floor 5S.
