Job Overview

Role Summary

The Supervisor International Pay Services is responsible for governance, compliance, operational oversight, and strategic management of multicountry payroll operations across APAC, EMEA, LATAM and NORAM (excluding US domestic payroll). The role ensures payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and alignment with internal control standards through structured review frameworks, vendor governance, and disciplined stakeholder engagement. This position leads a distributed team of payroll specialists, driving accountability, process standardization, audit readiness, and scalable payroll operations. The role functions as a central governance authority to ensure operational excellence while reducing execution risk and keyperson dependency.

Core Accountabilities

  • Lead endtoend payroll governance across multiple international entities through structured review discipline and vendor oversight.
  • Own the payroll lifecycle from input validation to funding approvals and establish structured review checkpoints.
  • Validate grosstonet outputs and ensure documentation controls for payroll and offcycle transactions.
  • Standardize review methodologies while accommodating countryspecific statutory frameworks.
  • Maintain auditready documentation and robust payroll control frameworks.

Leadership & Team Accountability

  • Provide structured leadership and direction to the payroll team.
  • Set clear performance expectations, operational standards, and accountability frameworks.
  • Build communication and escalation standards ensuring transparency and timely resolution of issues.
  • Strengthen team capability through training, knowledge transfer, and succession planning.

Workday & System Governance

  • Oversee payrollimpacting Workday configuration changes and integrations.
  • Validate system configuration updates prior to payroll impact.
  • Partner with PXBP, PX Systems & Ops teams for testing, change management, and governance signoffs.
  • Strengthen Workday ticketing governance and system documentation to reduce keyperson dependency and adhere to SLA.

Risk Management, Audit & Preventive Controls

  • Drive rootcause analysis for payroll errors, discrepancies, and escalations.
  • Implement corrective and preventive control frameworks, including statutory validations and termination controls.
  • Strengthen vendor governance standards and minimize compliance exposure.

Experience & Competencies

  • 8 to12+ years of multicountry payroll experience across APAC, EMEA, LATAM and NORAM.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing multiregional teams.
  • Experience with multicountry statutory compliance, payroll audits, and vendor management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Workday payrollimpacting areas, including Time & Absence and payroll configuration oversight.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to partner with PX, Finance, vendors, and senior leadership.
