We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts professional with 3–4 years of experience in airline accounting or travel agency accounting.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in IATA BSP reconciliation, airline accounting, receivables/payables, and SAP, along with a good understanding of airline and travel agency operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions related to airline ticketing and travel operations.
- Perform IATA BSP reconciliation and settlement, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Reconcile airline, GDS, supplier, and customer accounts regularly.
- Process invoices, receipts, credit notes, refunds, and journal entries.
- Monitor airline receivables, payables, and outstanding balances.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate accounting of airline commissions, incentives, PLB, and service fees.
- Maintain accounting records in SAP and support month-end closing.
- Prepare MIS reports and support financial analysis.
- Coordinate with airline partners, IATA, GDS, and internal teams for issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 3–4 years of experience in airline accounting or travel agency accounting.
- Hands-on experience with IATA BSP reconciliation and settlement.
- Working knowledge of SAP / SAP FICO.
- Good understanding of airline accounting, ticketing workflows, refunds, ADM/ACM, commissions, and service fees.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.
- Strong MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
