Hi, We are hiring SuiteCRM Developer for Coimbatore location. Immediate joiners preferred.

Experience: 1 – 3 years

Role summary

The SuiteCRM Developer will be responsible for configuring, customizing, integrating, and supporting SuiteCRM solutions for client projects, primarily within the insurance and broker management domain.

Key responsibilities

  • Configure and customize SuiteCRM modules, layouts, fields, and workflows to meet client business requirements
  • Develop custom modules and extend existing ones using PHP, Vardefs, and SuiteCRM Studio / Module Builder
  • Build and maintain automation rules, process audit logs, and email/workflow notifications
  • Implement lead pipelines and sales opportunity tracking
  • Customize policy lifecycle workflows, renewal reminders, and document management processes
  • Integrate SuiteCRM with third-party systems via REST API (carrier portals, quoting tools, ERP systems)
  • Write reports and dashboards using SuiteCRM reporting engine and AOS modules
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and client demos
  • Assist with data migration, import/export, and data cleansing activities
  • Provide L2/L3 application support and documentation for delivered solutions
  • Develop logic hooks, scheduler jobs, and custom entry points
  • Perform bug fixes, enhancements, and SuiteCRM upgrade support
  • Debug application issues using SuiteCRM logs and browser developer tools
  • Required skills & experience

    • 1–3 years of hands-on SuiteCRM or SugarCRM development and administration experience
    • Experience customizing DetailView, EditView, ListView, Dashlets, and popup views
    • Knowledge of SuiteCRM themes, Smarty templates, and custom JS integrations
    • Working knowledge of MySQL / MariaDB — schema design, query optimization
    • Experience with SuiteCRM Studio, Module Builder, and Vardefs customization
    • Familiarity with SuiteCRM workflow engine, AOW Process Audit, and email templates
    • Understanding of REST API integration patterns and SuiteCRM API framework
    • Exposure to version control using Git
    • Experience working with SuiteCRM 7.x customization and administration
    • Exposure to SuiteCRM upgrade-safe customization practices
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Basic understanding of CRM concepts: lead management, opportunity pipeline, account/contact hierarchy
    • Understanding of role management, ACLs, and performance optimization techniques in SuiteCRM

    Good to have

    • Exposure to insurance domain concepts — policy lifecycle, broker management, renewals, or commission tracking
    • Experience with SuiteCRM Security Suite (group-based access control)
    • Familiarity with PDF generation and form-handling tools such as PDFtk, TCPDF, FPDI, or mPDF
    • Knowledge of SuiteCRM reporting with AOS Quotes or invoicing modules
    • Familiarity with Linux server administration and LAMP stack deployment
    • Prior involvement in data migration projects using SuiteCRM import tools or ETL scripts

    Soft skills

    • Clear written and verbal communication — able to translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Self-starter who can manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
    • Collaborative team player comfortable working in agile or sprint-based environments
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new modules, integrations, and client verticals

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
    • Certifications related to CRM technologies, PHP development, or SuiteCRM / SugarCRM are an added advantage
