Role Overview:

We are looking for someone who can turn spoken content into clear, precise, and easy-to-read subtitles and transcripts.

This is a detail-heavy role that requires strong listening skills, language clarity, and the ability to simplify fast-paced speech into clean, readable text.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating accurate subtitles for short-form and long-form video content
• Converting spoken dialogue into clean, structured transcripts
• Breaking down long sentences into concise, readable subtitle lines
• Ensuring proper timing, sync, and readability of subtitles
• Proofreading content for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
• Maintaining consistency in tone, formatting, and style across videos

Requirements:

• 6 months - 1 year of experience in content writing, subtitling, or transcription
• Strong command of English (grammar, punctuation, sentence structure)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to simplify spoken language without losing meaning
• Good listening skills and ability to catch nuances in speech
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently
• We don't expect you to know every tool, but familiarity with any of these is a plus: Descript, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut
