Subsea Pipeline Design Engineer

We are hiring for a global organization for Subsea pipeline design engineer for Mumbai, chennai, bangalore location.

The role involves leading the engineering and design of subsea pipeline and flowline systems for complex offshore projects while coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engineering and design activities for subsea pipelines and flowlines in line with international design codes.

Perform and review engineering calculations related to:

Mechanical design

On-bottom stability

Buckling analysis

Spanning assessments

Support offshore pipeline/flowline construction engineering activities.

Operate and oversee data-centric pipeline engineering tools.

Coordinate with flow assurance and subsea systems teams.

Review technical reports, drawings, and engineering presentations.

Manage project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and technical quality.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Interface with clients and support engineering/project management teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

8+ years of experience specifically in subsea pipeline design.

Strong understanding of:

Structural mechanics

Soil mechanics

Fluid mechanics

Experience in offshore/subsea pipeline engineering and international design standards.

Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools such as Abaqus or Ansys is preferred.

Ability to independently perform engineering calculations and interpret analysis results.

Experience preparing engineering reports, studies, delivery plans, and CTRs.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
