Subject Matter Expert (Mechanical Engineering)

GaugeHow is building advanced engineering and manufacturing courses for students and professionals worldwide. We are looking for someone who can help improve course quality, engagement, and overall learning experience.

This is not a traditional teaching role.

You will help transform technical engineering content into structured, engaging, and high-quality learning experiences.

What You'll Work On:

• Creating Educational Videos, MCQs, quizzes, and assessments

• Designing assignments, labs, and practice exercises

• Improving course structure and lesson flow

• Creating professional PDF notes, worksheets, and learning guides

• Formatting and organizing course material

• Writing LinkedIn posts, learning summaries, and educational content

• Helping improve student engagement and retention

• Assisting in course research and content planning

• Supporting AI-assisted content workflows and automation

• Reviewing course quality and identifying gaps in learning experience

• Building supporting resources around CAD, CAM, CNC, manufacturing, FEA, and engineering workflows

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication and content organization skills

• Good English writing ability

• Attention to detail and structured thinking

• Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, Notion, Google Docs, or PDF tools

• Interest in engineering, manufacturing, or technical education

• Ability to simplify complex topics into easy-to-understand learning content

Good to Have:

• Experience creating educational or training content

• Mechanical engineering/CAD/CAM background

• Experience with LMS platforms or online courses

• Understanding of student learning behavior and engagement
