We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert to lead and manage the AWS to GCP migration project for our Non-Profit Organization (NPO). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in cloud migration, particularly from AWS to GCP, and will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any challenges that arise during the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run CVT/UAT for AWS to GCP Migration: Lead the execution of Conversion Testing (CVT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the successful migration of applications and data from AWS to GCP.
- Migration Interfaces: Oversee the migration of interfaces, ensuring compatibility and functionality in the new GCP environment.
- Handle Customer Issues: Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues related to the migration, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- GCP App Checkouts: Perform thorough checkouts of applications on GCP to ensure they are functioning as expected post-migration.
- Assist with GCP Cutover: Support the cutover process to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud migration projects, specifically from AWS to GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues effectively.
- Experience with Conversion Testing (CVT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
