About the Role
We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives across a variety of disciplines, including technology, business, sciences, humanities, finance, healthcare, engineering, education, and other specialized domains.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to your area of expertise, helping improve how AI models understand, reason about, and solve real-world problems. You will evaluate content, provide domain-specific insights, identify inaccuracies, and contribute to the development of more capable and reliable AI systems.
Your expertise will play a critical role in improving AI systems used for research, education, decision support, content generation, and professional workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated content, analyses, solutions, or recommendations
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for accuracy, reasoning quality, domain relevance, and practical applicability
- Identify factual errors, logical inconsistencies, knowledge gaps, or misleading information and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving research, content creation, analysis, problem-solving, and professional decision-making
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on knowledge understanding and real-world applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
- Strong expertise in at least one specialized subject area
- Professional, academic, consulting, research, or industry experience in your domain
- Ability to critically evaluate content and provide detailed, constructive feedback
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with research, writing, teaching, consulting, or professional practice is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
