Role details:

• Title / Designation: Subject Matter Expert
• Location: Kolkata

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead FPGA architecture design, RTL development, and hardware acceleration solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies on FPGA-CPU/GPU co-design and emerging technologies
• Develop PoCs to evaluate performance (latency, throughput, resource utilization)
• Debug RTL/testbench issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects
• Document design decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior engineers

Candidate requirements:

• 5-8+ years of hands-on FPGA/RTL design experience (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
• Strong knowledge of protocols: PCIe, Ethernet, TCP/IP, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, AXI
• Expertise in verification (UVM), simulation, and debugging tools (ILA/SignalTap)
• Solid understanding of digital design, hardware algorithms, and IP development
• Experience with FPGA toolchains, Linux/Windows environments, and scripting (Python/Tcl/Bash preferred)
