Job Overview: The Styling and Merchandising Intern will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between supply chain management and fashion aesthetics at Rent an Attire. This dynamic role requires both operational efficiency and a keen eye for styling trends and merchandising. The selected candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless product movement while contributing to the company's visual presentation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Sourcing
- Assist in onboarding new inventory (designer outfits & accessories)
- Coordinate with designers and vendors for new collections
- Ensure proper tracking and documentation of all incoming products
Cataloging & Merchandising
- Manage product cataloging for the website (images, descriptions, tagging)
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across product listings
- Support visual merchandising and styling shoots
Inventory Management
- Organize and maintain stock across categories
- Track product movement, availability, and returns
- Assist in stock audits and internal transfers
Logistics & Operations
- Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and returns
- Work closely with operations team to ensure smooth order flow
- Handle day-to-day backend processes
Quality Control
- Conduct quality checks on outfits before dispatch and after returns
- Identify damages, alterations, or maintenance requirements
Client Styling Support
- Assist stylists in client consultations and trials
- Help curate looks based on occasion, body type, and trends
- Ensure a seamless and premium client experience
