Position Overview:
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Math will develop engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans and instructional materials for Grades 3–12, aligned with U.S. curriculum standards (e.g., Common Core and state standards). This role requires strong math subject expertise and the ability to design age-appropriate, concept-driven instruction that builds numeracy, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills.

- Collaborate with Instructional Designers and curriculum teams.
- Incorporate feedback from reviews and pilot implementations.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
- Experience teaching or developing curriculum for Grades 3–12 (U.S. curriculum strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of math pedagogy and taxonomies.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content drafting, review, problem generation, and quality enhancement, with proper validation.
- Willingness to work on digital authoring platforms such as Articulate Rise , Mindsmith (training provided).
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Mathematics or Education.
- Experience with digital or blended learning environments.
- Exposure to authoring content on LMS (Canvas) and CMS (Brightspot)
