Study Abroad Counselor

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Study Abroad Counselor. The Study Abroad Counselor will guide students in choosing suitable programs and universities based on their academic goals and career aspirations. Responsibilities include providing career counseling, assisting with university applications, reviewing documentation, advising on visa procedures, and addressing student queries. The role also involves staying updated on international education trends and building relationships with universities and students.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills to guide students and their families effectively.
• Experience in career counseling, educational consulting, or similar roles.
• Knowledge of university application processes, visa requirements, and international education systems.
• Proficiency in research and organizational skills to manage documentation and deadlines.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to provide tailored solutions to meet students needs.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic understanding of CRM systems (preferred).
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including students, parents, and international university representatives.
• Relevant experience or certifications in education counseling and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline are advantageous.
