Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Study Abroad Counselor. The Study Abroad Counselor will provide guidance to students on selecting programs and universities that align with their academic and career aspirations. Responsibilities include counseling students and families, assisting with application processes, managing documentation, providing visa application guidance, and addressing queries regarding scholarships and pre-departure arrangements. The role also involves staying updated on global education trends and opportunities to better assist students in achieving their goals.

Qualifications
  • Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student needs and recommend appropriate academic programs and universities
  • Knowledge of university application processes, including documentation and deadlines
  • Experience in providing visa assistance and pre-departure guidance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist students and families effectively
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple student applications efficiently
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for tracking applications and maintaining records
  • Familiarity with global education systems, especially in key destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related fields preferred
  • Experience in the overseas education or related field is an advantage
