Study abroad counsellor

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Study Abroad Counsellor, located in Bengaluru. The Study Abroad Counsellor will support students in identifying suitable study programs and institutions, provide guidance on the admission process, and assist with visa applications. Other responsibilities include conducting research on educational opportunities, counseling individuals or groups, providing accurate information about courses, and maintaining strong relationships with students and educational institutions.

Qualifications

• Skills in student counseling, advisory services, and career guidance
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify study programs and opportunities
• Proficiency in communication, interpersonal skills, and relationship management
• Organizational skills to track application processes and manage documentation
• Experience in education consulting or related fields is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with visa regulations and university admission processes is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
• Knowlege of the canadian education system
