Our ecosystem operates at an incredible customer acquisition and tech ops cost per user. We handle the full journey, and we need elite operators who are ready to scale with us.

We're looking for a Study Abroad Coach who doesn't just answer questions—you transform ambition into admission. You will be the human voice of Nbyula for every student dreaming of studying overseas: the trusted advisor who turns a confused 22-year-old with a half-formed dream into a confident applicant walking into a top university abroad.

You aren't a counsellor reading off a script. You aren't a salesperson pushing brochures. You are a coach—part strategist, part mentor, part closer—who owns a student's outcome from the first discovery call to the day they board their flight.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves helping people change their lives and has the grit to do it at scale. Not someone who wants a quiet desk job—someone who wants to be the reason a thousand students get into their dream school.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Student Journey End-to-End: From the first discovery call to enrolment confirmation, you are the single point of accountability. No handoffs, no excuses. You coach, you advise, you close.
  • Coach with Conviction: Run deep profile discovery calls. Understand the student's academic record, career goals, financial reality, and family dynamics. Translate that into a sharp, no-nonsense study abroad strategy they can actually execute.
  • Build Killer Shortlists: Partner with our AI shortlisting agents to deliver university shortlists that are ambitious yet realistic. Defend every program choice with evidence—fit, eligibility, ROI, post-study work outcomes. Never recommend a program you haven't pressure-tested.
  • Drive Conversion: Convert qualified leads into enrolled students. Hit your monthly enrolment and revenue targets. Numbers matter—students outcomes matter more.
  • Master the Destinations: Develop deep expertise in admissions, eligibility, costs, scholarships, visa requirements, and post-study work rules for top destinations (Germany, US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, etc.). Stay sharper than any competitor counsellor.
  • Coach Through Documentation: Guide students through SOPs, LORs, CVs, and financial documentation. You don't write it for them—you push them to produce work that stands out.
  • Be the Parent Whisperer: Indian parents are the real decision-makers. Win their trust. Address their fears around finances, safety, ROI, and culture with data, empathy, and confidence.
  • Leverage AI, Don't Hide Behind It: Use Nbyula's AI agents (OmniWerk, shortlisting bots, document copilots) as force multipliers. The AI handles the grunt work; you bring the judgement, empathy, and closing power.
  • Keep Pristine Records: Every call logged, every commitment tracked, every student stage updated in our CRM. If it's not in the system, it didn't happen.
  • Feed the Machine: Surface patterns, gaps, and product ideas back to the team. You're closest to the student—your insights shape how Nbyula evolves.

What We're Looking For

Freshers welcome. If you have the hunger, communication skills, and obsession with helping people win, we'll teach you the craft.

  • 0–4 years of experience in study abroad counselling, ed-tech sales, admissions consulting, or a high-touch advisory role. Freshers with elite communication, sharp thinking, and an obsession with outcomes are equally welcome.
  • Phenomenal Communication: You speak and write English with clarity, confidence, and warmth. You can hold a room of anxious parents and ambitious students with equal ease.
  • Coaching Instinct: You don't just answer questions—you ask better ones. You diagnose what a student actually needs, not just what they ask for.
  • Sales DNA Without the Sleaze: You're comfortable owning a target and hitting it. You can close without manipulating. You'd rather lose a deal than mis-sell a student into a program that ruins their next five years.
  • Radical Candour: You give blunt, constructive feedback to students, parents, and teammates. You absorb intense feedback without your ego getting in the way.
  • Meticulous Detail Orientation: A wrong deadline, a missed eligibility clause, or a sloppy SOP can cost a student their dream. You don't make those mistakes twice.
  • Total Accountability: You take a student, own their outcome, and don't pass the buck. Zero hand-holding required.
  • Curiosity at Scale: You'll need to learn the eligibility quirks of 200+ programs across 10+ countries. You either already know this stuff cold—or you'll learn it faster than anyone else on the team.
  • AI-Native Mindset: You see AI as your co-pilot, not your competition. If you're scared of being replaced by a bot, this role isn't for you. If you're excited to out-perform every traditional counsellor on the planet with AI in your corner, welcome home.
