Role Description This full-time, on-site Study Abroad Advisor role is based in Kochi. The Study Abroad Advisor will guide prospective students through the entire study abroad process, from initial counseling to final enrollment in international institutions. Daily activities include conducting one-on-one consultations, assessing academic and career goals, recommending suitable countries, programs, and institutions, and explaining admission requirements and timelines. The role involves supporting visa documentation and application processes, coordinating with partner institutions, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of student interactions and application status. The advisor will also conduct information sessions, respond to walk-in and online inquiries, collaborate with internal teams, and uphold the organization's standards of integrity and quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong Educational Consulting skills, including the ability to assess student profiles, recommend suitable programs and destinations, and explain admission processes clearly.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to conduct counseling sessions, deliver presentations, and build trust with students and families.
• Knowledge of Visas and related documentation processes, with the ability to guide students through requirements and timelines for multiple countries.
• Consulting skills, including problem-solving, decision support, and the capacity to provide structured, unbiased guidance to students.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or international relations is an advantage.
• Prior experience in overseas education consulting, student counseling, or academic advising for a minimum of 2 years mandatorily needed.
• Proficiency in English; familiarity with regional languages in Kerala is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Comfort working in a client-focused, on-site environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
