Job Description

Company Description Al-Connect (Abroad Study) is a specialized admissions consulting firm that helps high-potential candidates secure places in QS Top 25 global universities for MBA, MiM, and MSc programs through deeply personalized applications. The team focuses on quality over volume and deliberately limits the number of applications handled each year to ensure each Statement of Purpose and essay remains exclusive and tailored. Al-Connect has a strong track record of multiple admits to leading schools such as HEC, LBS, INSEAD, Columbia, Duke, NUS, ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC, and IESE. The company values integrity, authenticity, and a long-term approach to applicants careers rather than shortcuts or generic application strategies. Prospective students can book a session to explore whether Al-Connect is the right fit for their study abroad goals.

Role Description As a full-time remote Study Abroad Advisor at Al-Connect, you will guide applicants through the complete lifecycle of applying to top global universities. You will conduct one-on-one consultations to understand academic backgrounds, career goals, and personal motivations, and translate these into tailored application strategies. Your daily work will include advising on school selection, program fit, timelines, and eligibility, as well as supporting applicants in creating compelling SOPs, essays, and resumes while maintaining their authentic voice. You will also provide guidance on standardized tests, recommendation strategies, and interview preparation, ensuring each applicant is equipped for every stage of the process. In addition, you will stay up to date on international admission trends, scholarship opportunities, and visa-related considerations to deliver accurate, timely, and ethical advice.

Qualifications

  • Strong Educational Consulting and Consulting skills to design personalized application roadmaps and guide applicants through complex admissions decisions.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication abilities to conduct impactful one-on-one sessions, give clear feedback, and build trust with diverse applicants.
  • Basic understanding of Visas and international study requirements, with the ability to direct applicants to reliable resources and timelines for their target countries.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Counseling, Business, International Relations, or a related field; prior experience in admissions, study abroad consulting, or career counseling is preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills to review application materials and ensure clarity, coherence, and authenticity without compromising academic integrity.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple applicants and deadlines, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with top global business schools and master's programs (MBA, MiM, MSc) and an interest in international higher education trends.
