About the Role

Heirloom Nation is seeking a highly organized, independent, proactive, and process-driven Studio & Operations Manager to anchor our presence in Navi Mumbai. This is a critical foundational role for a growing artisanal brand. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between our artisan partners and our global logistics, ensuring that every collection meets our exacting standards of quality and craft integrity.

As our first operations lead on the ground, you will have the unique opportunity to build our Navi Mumbai studio from the ground up by designing the space, implementing operational workflows, and managing the day-to-day rhythm of a high-end design house.

Key Responsibilities

1. Studio & Office Setup

• Support the physical setup of the new Navi Mumbai studio and office space, including vendor management, interior organization, and procurement of necessary equipment.

• Establish daily studio protocols to maintain an environment that build a creative and collaborative environment.

2. Operations & Process Engineering

• Design and implement end-to-end operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency from production to delivery.

• Create standardized quality control (QC) processes to preserve the integrity of traditional crafts.

• Develop a digital tracking system for inventory and production timelines.

3. Artisan Coordination & Sourcing Support

• Act as the primary point of contact for artisan partners, ensuring production schedules are met without compromising craft quality.

• Support sourcing of raw materials, vendor partners and new craft clusters based on project needs.

• Conduct regular quality inspections of finished goods, ensuring all textiles align with contemporary luxury standards.

4. Logistics & Supply Chain

• Manage all on-the-ground logistics, including the movement of raw materials to artisans and finished goods to the studio.

• Coordinate domestic and international shipping, documentation and record keeping.

5. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain meticulous records of all samples, production cycles, purchase orders, invoices, and artisan contracts.

• Keep precise logs of shipping, inventory levels, and studio expenses to ensure financial and operational accountability.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in operations management, supply chain, or studio management (preferably within fashion, textiles, or luxury decor).

Location: Must be currently based in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai

Administrative Precision: Exceptional attention to detail in record-keeping and document management.

Sourcing Instinct: An ability to research and vet suppliers who align with our high-quality and ethical standards.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a significant plus for artisan coordination.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with operations software, inventory management tools, and project management apps.

What We Offer

• The opportunity to be a founding member of a luxury brand's regional operations.

• A creative, fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts the preservation of heritage crafts.

• Competitive compensation tailored to experience level.
