Job Title: Studio Engineer / Sr. Studio Engineer
Educational Requirement: Engg / Design
Experience Requirement: 5 to 10 years of of professional experience in live projects
Experience with OEM preferred.
Job Role:
Bridging the gap if any between Design studio and Engineering Teams. Support different functions in studio to keep a realistic approach during conceptualization and later keep designer approach during negotiation phase with engineering team.
Job Responsibility:
Feasibility checks for design concepts. Checks Engineering, Packaging, Regulatory & Manufacturing feasibility in CAS & Class-A Data. Ensure adherence to MSIL & Suzuki design standards, Support release of surface and data for engineering processes, Maintain documentation & participate in design reviews.
Competency Requirement:
Technical / Functional:
Basic knowledge of Class-A surfacing,
Strong understanding of packaging & feasibility,
Engineering & Design CAD handling in Alias / NX,
Understand BIW, Trims, Plastic/Sheet metal feasibility
Behavioral:
Representing styling intent with engineering counterparts and converging engineering solution with best possible design
Creative and analytical thinking Good communication Result-oriented Able to deliver time-bound projects.
Specific Expertise for functional area: Advance Excel, Autodesk Alias, Catia/UG/NX
