Job Description

Job Title:Studio & Facility Manager

Location: Mumbai

Total experience:6+ yrs

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Studio & Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our studio and office infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring that the studio, workspaces, and production environments function smoothly, efficiently, and at professional standards.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in studio management within a production house or content agency, along with hands-on experience in facility operations, vendor management, and workplace hospitality. This role sits at the intersection of production support, administration, and employee experience, ensuring that both teams and clients have a seamless on-ground experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Studio Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end management of studio spaces including bookings, scheduling, and availability.
  • Coordinate with production teams to understand shoot requirements and ensure studio readiness.
  • Ensure studios are properly set up for shoots including power, lighting access, furniture, equipment placement, and basic technical readiness.
  • Manage studio inventory including props, backdrops, furniture, and basic production utilities.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards within studio areas.
  • Support on-ground coordination during shoot days to ensure smooth execution.

2. Facility & Infrastructure Management

  • Manage overall office and facility operations including housekeeping, maintenance, utilities, and workspace readiness.
  • Oversee infrastructure maintenance such as electrical systems, air-conditioning, internet connectivity, and general repairs.
  • Coordinate AMC contracts and service schedules for office and studio equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace standards.

3. Vendor & Asset Management

  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for facility services, studio requirements, maintenance, and procurement.
  • Negotiate rates and ensure cost-effective vendor partnerships.
  • Maintain records of vendor contracts, invoices, and service performance.
  • Manage asset tracking, allocation, and maintenance for studio and office equipment.

4. Production Support & Logistics

  • Coordinate operational requirements for shoots including power backup, permissions, security, parking, and logistics.
  • Support production teams with on-ground arrangements such as transport coordination, material movement, and space management.
  • Ensure readiness for multiple simultaneous shoots or projects when required.

5. Workplace Hospitality & Client Experience

  • Ensure a professional and welcoming environment for clients, talent, and external partners visiting the studio.
  • Oversee reception, pantry, and hospitality arrangements during meetings, shoots, and client visits.
  • Manage catering, green room readiness, and basic comfort requirements for talent and crew.
  • Maintain overall workplace hygiene, aesthetics, and experience standards.

6. Administration & Compliance

  • Manage office supplies, pantry inventory, and general procurement.
  • Maintain facility documentation including leases, licenses, and compliance records.
  • Monitor facility budgets and track operational expenses.
  • Support HR and Operations teams in workspace planning, onboarding readiness, and employee infrastructure needs.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in studio operations within a production house or content agency (mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of shoot environments and production workflows.
  • Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High ownership mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations, especially during active shoot days.
  • Strong attention to detail and service orientation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 48 years of experience in studio management, facility management, or operations within a production house, media company, or creative agency.
  • Prior experience handling studio environments, shoot coordination, and facility operations is mandatory.
