Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Delhi, India for a Student Editor at ICLR. The Student Editor will manage and edit academic submissions, ensuring adherence to the journal's standards and editorial guidelines. Key responsibilities include conducting initial reviews of manuscripts, coordinating the peer review process, collaborating with authors for revisions, proofreading, and ensuring the finalization of articles to maintain high standards. The role also involves research support for editorial projects and assisting in curating legal events or online engagements hosted by the journal.
Qualifications
- Strong editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in legal research, writing, and familiarity with construction and infrastructure law
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with authors and reviewers
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet publication deadlines
- Interest or background in construction law, infrastructure-related legal frameworks, or dispute resolution is a plus
- Pursuing or holding a degree in law (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution
