Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Admission Counsellor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the student visa process, particularly for New Zealand, and be capable of guiding students through the complete admission and visa application journey.

  • Provide expert counselling to students and parents regarding study options in New Zealand.
  • Assist students in selecting the appropriate course and institution based on their academic background, career goals, and financial capability.
  • Handle end-to-end admission process: application submission, documentation, correspondence with universities/institutes.
  • Guide and assist students with visa documentation and interview preparation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission policies, visa rules, and procedures of New Zealand institutions and Immigration New Zealand (INZ).
  • Coordinate with international institutions and universities for offer letters, admissions, and updates.
  • Follow up with leads, conduct walk-in counselling sessions, and convert inquiries into admissions.
  • Maintain and update student database and records systematically.
  • Participate in seminars, education fairs, and promotional events organized by the company.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably in education, management, or humanities).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in overseas education counselling, preferably for New Zealand.
  • Excellent communication and command over English language and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of international education systems, visa procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience with New Zealand student visa processing.
  • Familiarity with CRM or counselling management software.
  • Ability to speak multiple Indian languages is a plus.
