Role Description The Student Counsellor and Operations Intern will support students through their study abroad journey while assisting with daily operational tasks. This internship role is on-site and based in Remote, OR. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding students on university choices and programs, helping them understand application timelines, and coordinating basic documentation and follow-ups. The intern will assist with scheduling counseling sessions, maintaining accurate student records, and responding to inquiries via email, phone, or messaging platforms. Additional tasks may include supporting events or workshops, preparing simple reports, and collaborating with the team to improve processes and student experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and provide clear, empathetic guidance to students.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple student cases, track tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic administrative and operations skills, such as documentation, data entry, scheduling, and record-keeping.
  • Comfort with using digital tools and platforms, including productivity software, online communication tools, and basic research on universities and programs.
  • Interest in international education, student counseling, or career guidance, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pursuing or having completed a degree in education, counseling, psychology, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work on-site in Remote, OR, and collaborate effectively with diverse students and team members.
