Role Description As a full-time Student Academic Advisor at Degree Drishti, you will provide one-on-one guidance to prospective and current learners, helping them understand and compare UGC- and NAAC-approved online and distance degree programs. You will conduct needs assessments, clarify academic backgrounds and career goals, and recommend suitable courses and universities based on clear eligibility and curriculum details. On a daily basis, you will communicate with students via phone, in-person meetings, email, and messaging platforms, maintaining a supportive, ethical, and non-pressuring approach. You will explain program structures, fees, timelines, and application processes, and assist learners with documentation and enrollment steps where needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, requiring close collaboration with the counseling, admissions, and operations teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality advising experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build trust, listen actively, and support students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven experience in Student Counseling or academic advising, ideally within higher education, online learning, or career guidance contexts.
- Excellent Communication skills (spoken and written) to explain complex academic information in clear, simple, and respectful language.
- Background or knowledge in Education, counseling, or related fields to understand degree structures, accreditation, and curriculum design.
- Comfort using basic digital tools and CRM or student-management systems to manage leads, follow-ups, and counseling records.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida on a full-time basis, managing time effectively and handling multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (education, psychology, counseling, or management preferred); additional certifications in counseling or guidance are an advantage.
- Ethical, student-first mindset with a commitment to transparent guidance and long-term career value over short-term sales.
