Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Ludhiana. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and designing structural systems for residential and commercial buildings, including concrete and steel elements, in alignment with relevant codes and standards. Daily tasks include preparing structural calculations, drawings, and specifications; coordinating with architects, designers, and other consultants; and reviewing design proposals to ensure safety, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves using structural analysis and modeling software, performing design optimizations, and supporting detailing activities for steel and concrete structures. The Structural Engineer will also participate in design reviews, respond to site queries, and assist in resolving structural issues during construction.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in structural analysis and design, including reinforced concrete and steel structures, with knowledge of relevant national and international codes and standards.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE) and CAD tools for modeling, analysis, and detailing.
• Ability to prepare clear structural drawings, calculations, and technical reports, and to coordinate effectively with architectural and MEP teams.
• Familiarity with high-rise and low-rise building systems, load paths, and construction practices for residential and commercial projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, economy, and quality in design solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Prior experience in a structural consultancy or design office is preferred; exposure to Ludhiana or similar regional contexts is a plus.
