Job Description for Structural Steel Modeler

Skills Required

• 3D Modeling using Tekla Structures; building and using custom components, project setup and

creation of templates

• Study the scope of work, customer specifications and contract drawings

• Estimate effort and determine time required for completion

• Identify gaps, raise queries, prepare RFIs, seek clarification from the client and follow-up on

pending customer inputs

• Review RFI responses, interpret, evaluate adequacy (and close RFI)

• Ensure completion of work allocated as per set timelines

• Ensure and adhere to documented standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and work

instructions

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4 + years of experience in structural steel modeling with Tekla Structures and AISC standards

• Experience in both Structural and Misc. is mandatory

• Candidates must have worked on US projects

Educational Qualifications

B.E. or B.Tech. / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical
